The Tour
As you cycle on our easy route, be prepared to see awesome volcanic landscapes, hear tales of Icelandic Sagas and witness wonderful wildlife.
(Our Lava field Beserkjahraun is one of the few places in Iceland where the rare White-tailed Sea Eagles can be seen almost daily.)
We will pick you up at the local pool in Stykkishólmur and then drive you through the saga land, stopping on route for a short hike or two and a story. We then continue to the lava field Beserkjahraun, where we hop onto bikes and cycle on a family-friendly round route through the lava. NB: The Shark Museum which we will visit after the bike ride is included. We highly recommend joining us on a visit to this tiny museum to learn about the fascinating story of a family with deep roots in Icelandic culture. After the cycle/museum we will then return you to beautiful Stykkishólmur.

Summary
An easy bicycle tour that´s fun for the whole family. This tour takes you through the moss covered lava of the beserker giants where songbirds hop around and eagles circle above. This is not only a biking tour but also includes a drive through the saga land, short hikes, history, stories of folklore and a visit to the shark museum is included.
