“A sheet of snow gleamed on the slopes of these distant mountains, the peaks brazenly pierced grey cloud to reappear above shifting vapours like reefs, suspended in the sky” - Journey to the Centre of the Earth , Jules Verne
The Hike
Working together as a team, using only the strength of our bodies and minds, we will hike together to the summit of Snæfellsjökull, a somewhat demanding hike over ice gravel and snow. Upon reaching the summit this natural way, you will be rewarded with an overwhelming sense of self-fulfillment and absolute triumph.
....Oh and the views over the entirety of the Snæfellsness peninsula, the Westfjords and even sometimes Reykjavik City are not too bad either.
